EXPLORING FLORIDA’S BIG BEND GULF COAST: This regional travel log is accompanied by about 40 color slides. The region is the second oldest part of Florida inhabited by white men. Prior Native American cultures, and Spanish, French and American influences also are addressed. Besides exploring about 300 miles of the Gulf Coast, there are also long river trips up the Suwannee, Apalachicola and Chattahoochee Rivers.
